Postie tracks your parcels. This page explains what that needs and what we do with it.

What we store

When you open Postie, it creates an anonymous account for your device. You don't need to give a name or email. For each delivery you add, we store the tracking number, the carrier, any detail the carrier needs to track it (such as a postcode), the description you give it, and the tracking updates we receive.

How we use it

Only to track your deliveries: our server asks the carrier, or a tracking service acting for us, for the latest status and sends you a notification when it changes. We don't sell your data, show ads, or use it to profile you.

Who else sees it

The carrier, and any tracking service we use, receive the tracking number and the details needed to look it up. Our hosting provider stores the data on our behalf.

Deleting your data

Deleting a delivery in the app removes it from your list. To delete your account and everything in it, email us and we'll do it.
